A winter's tale

A year without a winter is like a rose without thorns, impossible. It first signals it arrival with the advent of autumn when yellow leaves fall on the ground from weak and helpless trees.
Then a time comes when there isn't a single leaf on a tree,  just white snow. It is a time of despair for the unsheltered, unclothed and hungry. Walking on the cold ground with chilly winds blowing in your face is like inviting the angel of death towards you.
Perhaps sometimes its useless to fight with that which is bound to come once in a while in everyone’s life. No matter how strong a man may be, he still has to wait for spring to come to feel the warmth, the life and the strength within the soul. Only then will he realize the blessing of happiness which enriches the mind and glows the face and makes one ready to face the winter again…..
Hope like the gleaming tapers light, Adorns and cheers our way, And still as darker grows the night, emits a brighter day….
